So I guess I missed this but back in the day, Flea and the guys from RHCP were GNR haters!?! In a recent article with Ultimate Classic Rock, apparently, the Peppers were all about the underground, weird bands and thought those "Hollywood Bands" were just looking for attention and didn't deserve all the coverage and respect they were getting. For real? Yep!
"We were definitely against the hair-metal scene..but in retrospect, it was all petty bullshit. Guns N' Roses was a great band." Wait, "was" a great band? We know what you meant Flea, and you guys are still a great band too.
