Chicago rockers RISE AGAINST are back with their first album in almost four years with the release of Nowhere Generation set for June 4. As the band starts its third decade, the release seems perfectly timed to play random summer festivals while also embarking on a tour of their own.
Sample the title track below and you'll hear the sense of optimism that bassist Joe Principe says the band has aimed for from the step. "From the beginning, we've wanted Rise Against to have that same positivity, to have our music be an inspiration for people to bring about change in their own lives. They just have to put forth the effort and speak up."
The band played Riotfest just two years ago, but is it just me, or is that the best genuine Chicago festival for these guys? I say bring 'em back!
