God, I'm so sick of hearing about "quiet quitting" as if it's a real thing. Not going "above and beyond" in the workplace sounds a whole lot like just doing your job. And according to a new poll, at least 50% of workers are quiet quitting. Dude, if it's half, then it's just the workforce standard. This isn't some new fad and trying to pretend it is only benefits executives who profit of that extra "above and beyond" work they don't include in your paycheck.
Do only your job. Take your vacations. Use those sick days. These people will replace you the second you die. Live your life.
