At least they are in California.
A California appeals court ruling has bees classified in the fish category under the state's endangered species law. Why? A few years ago, the California Fish and Game Commission classified bees as endangered, but the next year the Sacramento Supreme Court said that was bs because according to the law, bees are invertebrates and all invertebrates are fish. (Obviously these people have too much free time).
So they were like fine. Bees are fish. The point was supposed to be we wanted to protect them but ok. We'll call them fish to protect them.
Glad this is what the court system is being used for. Aren't there some marijuana charges they should be expunging instead of fighting over invertebrate labels?
