Idk why we're still talking about this but here we are.
I still stand with my previous statement that none of this was even that big a deal and we're blowing it out of proportion.
But a part of the discussion seems to be getting left out: it simply wasn't Will's place.
Now, every relationship is different, and I can only speak to my own experiences as a wife. But I know if I'm at an event for my JOB (remember, she's an actor too. She was there to support him but, these are her bosses and peers as well) and some dude says something to me, I'll handle it. I'm a big girl and I can use my big girl voice. Chris Rock wasn't being intimidating, he was being a dick. You really think we, as women, haven't figured out how to deal with that? A man mocking a woman for her appearance??? How shocking and out of the ordinary. /s We got this, my dudes. You guys can solve whatever you want however you want, but don't use women as an excuse for your temper tantrum. If we wanted violence, we'd use it. We know what we're doing and we don't need to be saved.
