A 71 year old man is facing charges after he used a permanent marker to turn a basketball court into a pickleball court (pickleball, if you're unfamiliar, is a cross between tennis, wiffle ball, and badminton. Not, much to my dismay, when you throw a ball at someone doing a pickle back shot. Although, who's to stop us from making our own game?). He somehow managed to do $10k worth of damage with that one marker and those boundary lines.
Seriously? $10k to remove permanent marker? Get a bored 8 year old and one of those magic erasers and you'll have that done in an afternoon for the low price of letting them play Mario Kart for an hour. So I guess also the cost of Mario Kart. Which should be nothing because you would hypothetically already have it because it's a staple in any gaming household. I'm really glad we agree on this reality.
