TikTok is Probably Effecting Your Sleep

You've heard it a thousand times by now: if you want a good night's sleep, stop looking at your phone before bed.

Tales of people actually following these directions circulate, but I've never met such a fearsome human.

Surprising to absolutely no one who uses it, TikTok was recently found to be the worst app for sleep.

128 members of the public revealed that TikTok is the worst app for sleep quality with participants taking one hour and seven minutes to fall asleep after using the app, and spending just 14% of their sleep cycle in REM after using the video app, which is almost half of the recommended amount for a healthy adult.

Cue some annoying rando popping up on your screen telling you to take a break.
