A woman has gone viral on TikTok for sending her husband to the store with a grocery list that includes photos and a map of the store with the location of each item clearly marked.
I get that it's supposed to be funny, but on behalf of many, MANY wives: it isn't.
This is a very common issue. The pandemic brought into the spotlight just how imbalanced the distribution of household labor is between men and women. If your wife asks you to simply go to the store and grab some groceries for BOTH of you, and you make it so incredibly difficult that she has to put in extra work to make sure your incompetent ass can cope with such a simple task, you're being purposefully obtuse. You're purposefully making it difficult so she won't ask you to do it again because you've decided this is her job.
Bro that's messed up.
I'm mad at you.
So is your wife.
I WILL steal her if I need to.
I'm in her DMs right now.
Telling her I'll go to the grocery store, do the dishes, sweep the floor and do the laundry.
She's falling in love with me.
You're being left in the dust.
There's only one way to pry her out of my grasp.
Just go to the goddamn grocery store.
