There is a petition gaining traction on the internet saying that Amazon's Jeff Bezos should purchase Leonardo DaVinci's famous painting of Mona Lisa and eat it. It is weird? Yes. It is random? Absolutely. Is it exactly what this country needs to unite its citizens? YUP. Just think about it; no one likes Jeff Bezos. The dude is grossly rich, and keeps getting richer by the second. Meanwhile stories of Amazon workers having to skip bathroom breaks to meet quotas started leaking last year. So yeah, he's awful.
The Mona Lisa is a priceless work of art. That we've all seen. Doesn't matter whether or not you've seen it in person, you get the idea. Artistically gorgeous portrait of a woman who may or may not be smiling and that makes it mysterious. We've been seeing it forever. It's time to go.
And we need Jeff Bezos to eat it. Specifically. It could potentially be the Tiger King of 2021.
Come on, Jeff Bezos. Do something decent. Eat the Mona Lisa.
