Not DURING the Super Bowl, mind you. We're not that lucky to have them be a wildcard choice for The Weeknd's performing guest. However, Metallica will be performing on A Late Show with Stephen Colbert Sunday night. That kicks on at 10:35pm on CBS and if nothing else, we're so grateful that SOMEONE agrees they should be Super Bowl performers. I mean really, NFL? You put Coldplay up there before Metallica? Blasphemous. They haven't even been featured on the Saturday night NFL Honors, which Green Day will be performing on this year. We'll let it slide this year. But if the Bears ever make it to the Super Bowl again, we want Metallica.
