- "Self destructor" is the lead single off the band's upcoming album NIRATIAS due to be released March 5th this year
- Although the song seems to capture the insanity of 2020, it was actually written in 2019
- According to frontman Pete Loeffler, the lyrics have to do with "science deniers"
- The band says both the cover artwork and the album itself are very space-themed
