That's what Charles Barkley preached when talking about the covid-19 vaccine rollout. There are so many issues with this, but we'll just ask some questions.
Why do poor people, who pay less in taxes, deserve to be exposed to the dangers of covid longer?
Why are taxes his justification for this? Isn't that incredibly arbitrary?
Has he taken into consideration the elderly, healthcare professionals, high-risk individuals, or professionals who don't have the luxury of being able to social distance?
I guess the real question is: Did he think this statement through at all?
