So much great music arriving here at the beginning of 2024. Good thing you have a place to be exposed to it all.

We kicked off the show this wek with something new (to us) from Linkin Park. We had a couple of these previously unheard songs last year but they were from the Meteora album sessions. Now we're getting a new song from Linkin Park's last album One More Light. "Friendly Fire" will be on the upcoming greatest hits collection Papercuts which is out April 12th!

Kings of Leon are back, announcing a new album and world tour! They'll be at Huntington Bank Pavilion at the end of the season on September 28th. That'll give you plenty of time to get to know the new album Can We Please Have Fun which will drop on May 10th. I played the first single from the album "Mustang".

Mick Mars released his solo album. He still sounds great on the guitar on The Other Side Of Mars. I included "Right Side Of Wrong" on the show.

If you're weren't on the Sleep Token bus before the show, hopefully you are now! Take Me Back To Eden was my favorite album last year. They were amazing at Riot Fest and will return to Chicago for 2 shows at the Salt Shed in May. BOth shows are sold out but if you can squeeze in there... DO IT!

Also tossed in new music from Pearl Jam, Metallica, Foo Fighters.. turned you on to a band from Ohio called The Plot In You (I love this song "Closure"), played you the new #1 song from Papa Roach... and ended the show with a comeback single from the UK's Catfish & The Bottlemen.

Hopefully you found something new to love.

I'll be back next Sunday night at 9 with more New Noise!

-Walt
