Before Van Halen included David Lee Roth and Michael Anthony, brothers Eddie and Alex had a 3 piece band called Mammoth. a rare recording of them covering Black Sabbath's "War Pigs" in 1972 was just unearthed this week.
You can clearly hear the talent not just in Eddie's solos but also in Alex on the drums.
It was only a matter of time for these two.
