Not only was Taylor Hawkins the drummer for Foo Fighters, he also fronted a rock covers band called Chevy Metal.
Earlier this week, Dave Grohl carried the torch and played with the band at the Rock n' Roll Pizza Bar in Simi Valley California. Joining Dave on stage was Taylor's son Shane, Steven Perkins from Jane's Addiction and Chad Smith from the Chili Peppers.

I got to see Cevy Metal with Taylor at the Metro years ago. It's a great night! Hope they keep it going!
