Sure, Sunday night means you're just hours away from heading back to work for another week... but it also means you get to check out what's happening in rock music TODAY!
Hey, it's Walt! Here's what we played on New Noise this week!
After 2 weeks at number one, Jelly Roll is dethroned by Staind and their first new song in 12 years. The new album Confession of the Fallen is expected out on September 15th and the first single "Lowest In Me" has worked it's way to the top of the heap. We'll see Staind in action along with Godsmack at Credit Union 1 Amphitheater on August 10th!
I played you another song from the latest Metallica album. Keep an eye on "Too Far Gone" as it makes a run up the charts.
Mongolian throat metal monsters The Hu have recruited Serj from System of a Down to add some vocals to their new track "Black Thunder". You have to put seeing The Hu live on your bucket list. You'll thank me later.
Closed out the show with the new one for In This Moment. "The Purge is the first release off the new album Godmode which will drop in time for Halloween on October 27th. A week later, they'll set up the amps at Hard Rock Live in Gary on November 3rd!
Back next Sunday night at 9 for another hour of New Noise!
