What better way to celebrate the 4th of July than with an hour of new rock tunes! Here's what you heard on New Noise this week!
We started with Fall Out Boy's new, updated version of Billy Joel's "We Didn't Start The Fire" covering newsworthy events from the past 40 years. If you saw Fall Out Boy at Wrigley Field last month, then you heard this before they took the stage (and before it was released).
I also played you this amazing new version of "Last Resort" that Falling In Reverse has offered. You have to check out this hauntingly emotional re-imagined version of the Papa Roach song. There are a bunch of videos of Jacoby Shaddix feeling it as he listens to this cover.
We have a new number 1 song at rock! Finally!! Foo Fighters held off Metallica for about 6 or 7 weeks, but it was only a matter of time until the mighty Metallica was sitting on top with "72 Seasons".
New Corey Taylor, Avenged Sevenfold and Staind in the mix as well.
Hopefully you found something new to love.
I'll have another hour of new rock tunes Sunday night at 9!
