Always great to start the week with a great concert announcement. Just announced, Static-X and Sevendust will hit Hard Rock LIve in Gary IN on October 19th! I have several requests for Sevendust to celebrate today. I love their cover of Soundgarden's "The Day I Tried To Live". Lejon sounds so great on this track!
Heard from the guys at Herbst High Performance who were looking for something from Linkin Park's Hybrid Theory album. It's been ages since I pulled out "Points Of Authority" and it sounded great on the Setlist!
Bob the head roadie of Elmhurst had a great time at The Angi Taylor Show's Liquid Lunch last Friday and wanted to dedicate a Metallica song to the guy who was repping Blackened Whiskey. I couldn't play "Blackened" since Abe played it as the winner of Request Wars this morning (which is being appealed, apparently there was suspect math used in the tabulation) so I went with Angi's pick this morning of "Seek and Destroy". Great suggestion Bob!
