Happy Hump Day!
Celebrated a couple of birthdays on The Setlist today. Eric Kretz has been holding down the groove for Stone Temple Pilots since the beginning. He turns 57 today! Ignited the Setlist with "Plush".
Today also would've marked Prince Rogers Nelson's 65 birthday. So to honor Prince, I played a request for Foo Fighter's amazing cover of "Darling Nikki". A tribute to one of the greats!
Tory in Bourbonnais called in and wanted make everyone feel good on a hump day and requested Motley Crue for the Setlist. I see what he did there.
Sadly, today we got word that Social Distortion frontman Mike Ness has been diagnosed with tonsil cancer. In making the announcement, he says we WILL get through this. "Bad Luck" from Social D on the Setlist today.
We will build another one tomorrow!
