Foo Fighters are back!! And in a big way!
Foo Fighters will hit the road this week to play their first shows since the passing of drummer Taylor Hawkins last year. They had a special livestream to unmask the drummer for this record cycle and it's none other than Josh Freese, one of the premiere rock drummers who's played with Guns N' Roses, A Perfect Circle, Nine Inch Nails, The Offspring... and many others.
The new album But Here We Are is out on June 2nd and not only did I play the brand new single "Under You" but Foo Fighters also took over the #1 spot on the Rock Chart with "Rescued". It's good to have Foo Fighters back!
Ghost dropped their covers EP Phantomime and the stand out is their reworking of the Tina TUrner Thunderdome classic "We DOn't Need Another Hero"! It really works as a rock song in 2023!
Def Leppard also released their Drastic Symphonies album with the London Royal Philharmonic Orchestra. I like that they didn't just add strings to what they usually play, but they completely re-imagined their classic songs with an orchestra. Wrapped up the show with the new version of "Pour Some Sugar On Me".
Plus new songs from Greta Van Fleet, Bush, Disturbed, The Smashing Pumpkins and more. Hopefully you found some new music to love.
Back Sunday night with another hour of New Noise!
