It's been 6 years since our ears were treated to new music from Avenged Sevenfold. This is long overdue. A7X have announced a new album called Life Is But a Dream which will be out in July and with the announce, comes a new single called "Nobody" which kicked off the show.
I also worked in something off of the new U2 album where they have reworked 40 of their classics, mostly striping them down.I've always said, take a song down to the vocal and a guitar ot piano and then you'll really hear the SONG. Great to hear "Sunday Bloody Sunday" like that.
We once again have a new song sitting at #1 on the Rock chart. It was bound to happen... Linkin Park takes the top spot with "Lost", the 20 year old song from the Meteora sessions. It'll show up on the 20th anniversary edition of the album which drops on April 7th.
And I played the new song from Seattle guitarist Ayron Jones. This guy plays with so much soul! DO yourself a favor and check out "Blood On The Water"!
