The only good thing about the end of a weekend... an hour of new rock on New Noise!
Big release from Godsmack arrived on Friday. They released their 8th studio album Lighting Up The Sky which already gave us the former #1 song "Surrender". Now with the album out, we get the follow up single! We kicked off the show with "Soul On Fire", flaming new song from Godsamck.
Bush was in town over the weekend and will be back in the area opening for Breaking Benjamin in Milwaukee on May 14th. Their single from the new album "More Than Machines" is in the set... and it was on New Noise this week.
Metallica was dethroned a week ago by Starset w/ Breaking Benjamin. This week, another new song at #1 on the Rock chart. Congrats to Five Finger Death Punch who sit at the top this week with "Welcome To The Circus".
I also hit new music from Highly Suspect, Ghost teaming up with Joe Elliott of Def Leppard, Daughtry and Lizzy Hale covering Journey and some Mongolian throat metal from The Hu!
There's some great things happening at rock these days... and you'll hear it Sunday nights at 9 on New Noise!
