I hope you're enjoying the weekly journey into new music as much as I enjoy putting it together.
A lot of new stuff on this week's show. Starting with the new offering from Fall Out Boy! The Chicago band is back with a new album on the way, So Much (For) Stardust which is out March 17th. And the first song from it is called "Love From The Other Side". It's classic Fall Out Boy!
Another band I've been playing for a while, Maneskin just released their US debut called Rush last Friday. These guys are the real deal. And although every genre is trying to claim them, they are a rock band. Tom Morello shows up on the new record for a song called "Gossip" and I think it proves my point. They will all be performing it on Fallon on Thursday.
Also played you this awesome new cover Daughtry and Lizzy Hale did of Journey's "Separate Ways".
New tunes from Noel Gallagher's High Flying Birds and Bret Michaels.
And ended the show with an anonymous band from the UK called Sleep Token. I've heard them described as Ghost for a new generation. Something is happening with this band. They just gained half a million followers in the first 2 weeks of this year. Very melodic and super dynamic. Check out this video for "Granite".
