The Setlist - 10.4.22

Usually, Tuesdays are my least favorite days of the week. Tired from a Monday and the weekend is still a long way off.

Today, however, had a couple of things going for it. For one, it's National Taco Day! Yes, I had tacos for lunch (burp). Even better, was a big announcement from one of my favorite bands.

I love rock music. It's formed who I am as a person... as a musician. It started with KISS, then Van Halen, then Alternative Industrial bands. One of the bands who has influenced me most as a songwriter and as a keyboard player, has to be Depeche Mode.

Earlier this year, we lost founding member Andrew Fletcher and there were questions as to what the band would do. They had already been hard at work on a new album and today, surviving members Dave Gahan and Martin Gore announced that they will release their 15th album Momento Mori in April which will coincide with a world tour!

Only 7 US dates on this tour which includes a stop at the United Center on April 5th! Those tickets go on sale Friday morning at 9 at Ticketmaster.com.

All this week, you'll have a chance to win tickets! Needless to say, I'm excited.

Farmer texted in and requested "Terrible Lie" from Nine Inch Nails who were definitely inspired by Depeche Mode.

I also was able to fit in requests for Shinedown, Skid Row and Def Leppard.

Not bad for a Tuesday.

We'll build another one tomorrow!
