Happy Monday!
After the biblical rain we received yesterday, I'm so glad my wife bought us an inflatable kayak for Prime Day. Hopefully you faired alright.
We celebrated a couple of record anniversaries today. Aerosmith released their 10th album Pump on this day in 1989. It was a successful follow up to Permanent Vacation and had Aerosmith rolling in the late 80s. Congrats to these guys who just celebrated 50 years of Aerosmith at Fenway over the weeked! That's quite an achievement.
Also celebrating a birthday today, Metallica's Death Magnetic, which dropped on this day in 2008. The successful follow up to the St. Anger album. The band teamed up with Rick Rubin to produce this one. Josh suggesting "Cyanide" for the Setlist today.
Heard from Mike who was listening to the Family Values playlists over the weekend and thought Orgy's "Blue Monday" would be a perfect song for today's Setlist, and I agree.
And Ferrari called in wanting to celebrate HIS independence day with David Lee Roth's "Yankee Rose".
We'll band together to build another Setlist for the lunch hour tomorrow!
