The Setlist - 3.18.22

Happy Friday!!

It's Release Day for me! My little band Stabbing Westward is finally releasing album number 5... after a 21 year break. We have been working on these tunes for several years and today Chasing Ghosts is finally out and available. It's a weird feeling I haven't had in decades. The response has been really great! I don't usually talk a lot about Stabbing, maybe a little here and there, but today, I'm feeling proud and wanted to share with you. If you're interested, you can check out the album on our Bandcamp page.

I know Jay The Gay and Keith at A&R are fans so I tossed in the current single "Ghost" on the Setlist today.

Also, paying respect to the late Randy Rhodes, who passed away in a plane crash 40 years ago tomorrow. He was the most electrifying guitarist since Eddie Van Halen and was poised to have a big career. Cut way too short.

So what's the best song to pay homage? Any of them really. I went with the Blizzard Of Ozz opener. Ozzy is going solo, has a new band, and this is the first thing we hear! I tossed "I Don't Know" on the Setlist.

Also added Bon Jovi's "Bad Medicine" for Marty in Valpo. It's the song that got him in Klinger's Hair Club!

have a great weekend and we'll build another Setlist on Monday!
