Metallica is undoubtedly, one of the biggest bands on the planet. They're used to playing stadiums, festivals and arenas.
But last night, they squeezed all their amps and gear into a tiny (for them) club in San Francisco. Thursday afternoon, they announced that they were playing The Independent that night. Even on short notice, no surprise that the show sold out instantly.
The setlist was for the die hard fans too. Even though they are supporting their Black Album reissue, they only played a few songs from the album in their 16 song setlist.
Perfect warm up as they get ready for upcoming festivals like Louder Than Life in Louisville and ATL Live in Atlanta.
