For the past 7 weeks, Metallica has been releasing a few covers from their upcoming Metallica Blacklist covers album. 53 tracks to help commemorate the 30th anniversary of their seminal self-titled album, known as the Black Album.

Pretty heavy for Weezer, huh? But they always do a good job with covers. Remember their cover of Toto's "Africa"?
Other artists who will show up on the Blacklist album include Volbeat, Ghost, Royal Blood, White Reaper, Corey Taylor, Cage The Elephant, Th Hu and many, many more! All profits from the Blacklist album will benefit Metallica's charitable foundation All Within My Hands along with a charity of each artist's choice(!)
They will also be releasing a remastered "definitive" version of the Black Album. Both will be out on September 10th.
