Yesterday, as Klinger was kicking off the Commercial Free Ride, news was starting to spread of the passing of one of metal's greatest drummers, Joey Jordison, the former drummer and founding member of Slipknot.
His family posted that he passed away peacefully in his sleep. The rest of the band have paid tribute with a black out on social media. Everyone involved with the band showing a black box today.
It's really sad. Joey had Transverse Myelitis which is a form of MS. It ultimately affected his ability to play drums and lead to him leaving the band in 2013.
But when you go back and what some of the old videos, the guy was a beast! The king of the double kick drums. Check out some of these videos!
And lastly, check out Joey's last show with Slipknot!
Undeniably one of rock's greatest drummers who has influenced a new generation! Rest In Peace Joey.
