Pink Floyd members Roger Waters and David Gilmour have been at odds for decades, occasionally burying the hatchet for a joint appearance here and there.
Roger has now announced that longtime Pink Floyd engineer James Guthrie and done some amazing new mixes of the Animals album including a new 5.1 mix. Roger has wanted to get these new mixes out but apparently, David Gilmour wouldn't agree to release them with the current liner notes in the package.
After much back and forth, Roger agreed to remove the liner notes in order to get the album out.... and then just released the disputed liner notes on his website.
I'm guessing this isn't getting these two back on stage any time soon.
