I've been saying it for the past year. We can't forget about the guys behind the scenes of the live shows that we love (and miss). Musicians can record and find other ways to make money, but it's the road crews and the folks at the local venues who are really struggling without concerts.
Case in point, Tom Weber was Eddie Van Halen's long time guitar tech. He was all set to have a banner year in 2020. He was going to hit the road with Reba McEntire and then go out with Poison, hoping to make enough to pay off his house. Instead, he's in danger of losing it.
RoadieCares started a GoFundMe to help him out. But there are countless others who are hurting.
Let's all do the things we need to do to get back to live shows... safely!
