What would you do if you were performing on stage and someone threw a winged bat at you. If you're Ozzy Osbourne, you pick it up and bite it's head off, of course.
It was on this day in 1982 when Ozzy was performing in Des Moines, IA, that he famously bit the head off of what he thought was a fake bat. It wasn't and he ended up in the hospital for rabies shots.
