Last night, Alice In Chains received the Founders Award from Seattle's Museum of Pop Culture (MoPop).
If you've never been to the museum, it's awesome! Kinda like a Rock and Roll Hall Of Fame on the west coast.
Lots of peers put together performances to honor the band. Metallica did a cool version of "Would?" as did Korn. "Duff McKagan from Guns N' Roses did "Down In a Hole" where he played most of the instruments and Shooter Jennings supplied the vocals.
But I think my favorite was Corey Taylor (Slipknot/Stone Sour), Dave Navarro (Jane's Addiction) and Taylor Hawkins (Foo Fighters) nailing "Man In The Box".
The whole tribute is 2 and a half hours but well worth the watch.
