2020 is still at it, breaking hearts and claiming lives. Tony Lewis, the singer/bassist for the UK band The Outfield has passed away at the age of 62. According to a publicist, he died "suddenly and unexpectedly" on Monday.
If you haven't listened to The Outfield's 1985 debut album Play Deep recently, it's worth pulling out. The band is best known for their song "You Love" but the whole album is pretty solid.
While The Outfield's guitarist, John Spinks passed away in 2014 from liver cancer, Tony Lewis remained active releasing his only solo album in 2018 called Out of the Darkness.
