Fiestas, Food, and Giving Back: Puerto Rican People's Day

he 47th Annual Puerto Rican People’s Parade is marching back to Humboldt Park, and I couldn’t be more proud. As a Latino American who’s walked in the last five parades, this celebration means everything to me — it’s not just a party, it’s family, history, and community coming together on full display.

Part of the city’s four-day Fiestas Patronales Puertorriqueñas celebration, the event will feature live music, sports, art, and family events, per FOX NEWS CHICAGO 32.

🥫 Goya Foods will also donate 1,000 grocery bags to families in Humboldt Park — a major move of love and support.

The celebration kicks off with a press conference at the National Museum of Puerto Rican Arts & Culture and leads into the parade on June 14 at 2 PM, starting on Paseo Boricua at Division & Campbell.

Proceeds support the Tu Casa Project, helping youth programs and building up our future.
