Navy Pier in June: Your Guide to Free Events You Can't Miss

It's no surprise that Navy Pier is one of the most popular destinations in Chicago. Loved by Chicago natives and tourists, Navy Pier spans 50 acres along the lakefront and is packed with shops, theaters, food, and attractions.

Navy Pier is hosting amazing events all month long—many of which are free!

Live On the Lake! 2025 happens every weekend until September. Visitors can relax in the Navy Pier Beer Garden while enjoying free live music outdoors. You can also catch more free music with Skyline Sessions. On Thursday and Friday nights, the Ferrara Candy Wave Wall Stage hosts solo artists and small ensembles.

Looking for a free workout? Join Pier Fitness every Tuesday night through August 26. From Rush Hour Cardio to Sunset Yoga, these free fitness sessions let you break a sweat without breaking your bank.

If traditional workouts aren't your thing, you can still move with Pier Dance! Every Wednesday night at Ferrera Candy Wave Wall Stage, you'll have the chance to learn a new dance style. The evening ends with an open dance floor for all.

Stick around the Pier on Wednesday and Saturday nights to enjoy beautiful fireworks displays. The bright colors light up the night sky for a truly memorable experience.

Think you've got brains? Test your knowledge at Trivia On The Lake! Every Thursday, head to the Navy Pier Beer Garden for free trivia. Battle for weekly prizes and rack up points toward a grand prize!

Saturdays bring even more entertainment. Enjoy outdoor DJ sets with Wave Wall Wax, or watch local dance companies perform for free at Wave Wall Moves.

On June 7th, don't miss the final Play For All event of the summer. The Chicago Children's Museum at Navy Pier is inviting children and families with disabilities to enjoy the interactive exhibits for free. Please note: Only the first 250 children and families who register will receive free admission.

Finally, two big community events are coming to Navy Pier this June.

Navy Pier's Summer Block Party returns on June 25 with a full day of family-friendly fun! Enjoy music, arts and crafts, video games, and classic outdoor games like corn hole.

Navy Pier Pride will be held on June 28th. Celebrate with a full day of live music, educational programming, resources, and performances by local LGBTQ+ artists.
