Hump day already, how wonderful is that? With a shortened week due to the holiday, the mid week sprint is here faster than usual and we are beyond thrilled (at least I am, we're one day closer to Spooktober!) However, another day down means that the weekend and being off work is so much closer. For some people, this is the dream as they hate their job and would love to quit it. This does include Angi, Marris, Mike and myself as we love it here (yes, there is a gun to my head) and would never dream of quitting this bitch in a blaze of glory. Still, not everyone is as lucky as us and some people fantastize hard about leaving behind their place of torture and going on to something better. Of course, with all that though comes the grief and fall out of quitting and some people just don't want to deal with that. This, in turn, causes them to stay in a job longer than they intended and leaves them with a fear of saying they want out. Luckily for these people, there are now companies that will quit your job for you. This company will call your job, tell them you are done, offer the last day you intend to show up and will coordinate the return of company property. These currently are mostly based in Japan (I think you know where this is going) because the workers there tend to be "less confrontational." One person who used the service basically conveyed the idea that their colleagues were not worth saying goodbye to (stone cold bitch right there, we love it.) Though if Angi was to quit, she wants to go out like the iconic on air person who yelled "I quit this bitch" and walked out. However, since she's not quitting (Angi Taylor Money pays for her gambling,) we came up with yet another Angi Taylor Show money making venture. See, as we said that sending someone to do this was kind of a bitch way out (bitch counter is high today, not sure why,) Mike came out swinging and offered to do it (for free mind you until we showed him the light.) After mentioning how $200-$300 can be made doing this, Mike offered to do it for $100. We will undercut this company because we have no shame and more so, it would give us some show content. Want us to dump your significant other, want us to quit your job, have a secret you need revealed? We are that bitch and we will do it for you Gen Z kids who lack social skills and don't know how to confront something since your lives are lived online and have been stifled by the pandemic. Call in Main Point:
From one problematic situation to another, our Daily Discussion Topic this morning tackled a tender subject. With back to school in full swing, we explored bullying and the problems that encompass the idea of handing down a beating (warranted or not.) Apparently there is a social media post that has been following Angi around about parents sending kids to school under the guise of "if someone hits you, hit them back." This could be considered part of the problem as it continues to facilitate a cycle of violence and for this reason, we explored bullying. After all, most of us have either been bullied or know someone who has been bullied before. The thing is, as it is with most, there are different ways of thinking and going about how to handle the problem. For example, Angi was bullied in school and so was her daughter. How does one handle an issue like this though, do they fight back, report it or just act passive. Angi's stance may not be one everyone takes but it is pretty valid. Angi told her daughter never be the person who starts a fight but if you find yourself involved, be the one to finish it. Even if it leads to trouble, as long as her daughter was not the instigator, Angi would have her back. Now, neither of the other two studio crew have children and I act like a kid even though I'm in my 40's so we're skipping right over us and going right to the Request Line. We opened the floor to Janice who had quite a tale to tell. No seriously Janice, we only have so much time to discuss things so let's see if I can dissect the longest call ever. Her kid was pestered by a bully and she said, you can hit him once but if he goes down, you stop swinging because then it is assault. Logan suggested his kids be nice to everyone but if another starts the fight, you go and finish it. Mike's advice was to walk away but Angi disagreed saying that walking away just allowed for persistence to turn around and continue bullying. Marissa agrees with Angi not to start a fight and talked about her own kids' fight being caught on video. Dan told his kid, if you see a girl being bullied, step in and help (I'm assuming help the girl, not help beat her down.) Joe told his daughter to punch anyone bullying her in the nose and then he'll take her for ice cream. Lastly, Tim told his daughter don't walk or run away as they will pick on you forever if you do that. Also, if they hit you, finish the fight. Other Stuff From Today's Show
So, as discussed on the show yesterday, last night was the iHeart Fantasy Draft and well, Angi isn't singing her own praises this morning. While she feels her team is "okay," she thinks she did better last year. As for the name game that we initiated yesterday, she is still The Lot Lizards so it seems like not a lot of effort came forth from the draft. What did happen though is just like last year, the roster was posted on our Instagram so we want the roadies to tell us who did a better draft between Angi and Marris. One fun tidbit though was when Marris seemed to be gearing to take a player Angi wanted and she almost lost it. We got the typical murder/kill/threat nonsense from our resident Vikings fan who loves the Bears until they play the Vikings. After Marris floated a name of a player he picked on the Lions that caused my furniture to levitate when he said it, we explored the top 10 NFL's who are worth money. Number 1 was Dallas and they have held that since 1996 with their 18th year in a row of being worth 10 billion. Here is the full list (not included is the Chiefs down at 24.)

Finally, more NFL to cap us off and we end these notes with the vortex hell that is Traylor. That's right, a new season is here and Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce are still dating ... for now. According to The Daily Mail (a trashy newspaper in the UK,) a breakup of America's sweethearts is coming on Sept 28th. To complement this, a pic of the PR talking points for the break up leaked but the need to be gracious, respectful and demure may be fake. The firm alleged to have drawn up the contract, Fullscope, is calling BS on the document and is threatening to get their lawyers involved. Regardless of real or fake, Angi is tired of them but Marris had a different insight on it all. He thinks Angi is getting worked and all this is just the machine doing its process. If they break up now, she can drop a breakup album in November and then do a tour to promote it while the Kelce brothers prosper with all their lucrative deals (this sounds completely spot on.) Regardless, Angi is sick of it and she wants the bubble to burst right now. She wants Taylor to go away but Mike offered she might be the next Dolly Parton to which Angi almost threw a chair. Since she was already mad that she didn't get Travis in the draft or as a husband I think, Angi went after Mike since she was losing the fantasy poll. See, he posted it with their team names but not their actual names next to it which could lead to confusion (it didn't.) Even though Angi wants the poll redone now, Marris is already prepping on how to rile Angi up from a beach in Tanzania when he beats her during the first week.

This morning's toast was an off-air conversation pivot when Angi realized the point of Marris' upcoming vacation (aside from resting, recharging and relaxing,) is to get his dong wet. From taking a safari to whore houses to going to an island filled with nudity, our fantasies could not be contained until he told us the resort he's staying at specializes in weddings. Still, this is a chance for him to get to know and then get inside of others. While he may not be looking for love, we want him to get the works. We also learned about Angi starting rumors at iHeart.
