There was a time when the rock and roll party animals in Tampa Florida called me Bob Gnarly. I was known for pretty much the same style of radio I am now.. except with the added bonus of having a band that created comedy and parody songs for my #1 rated morning shows. One of our favorite subjects was the holidays, and we often created very special comedy bits and parody songs for Thanksgiving and Christmas.
Below is one our infamous Thanksgiving parody songs created in the style of Oasis. The original song was much much longer, as they were always created to mimic the original as close as possible. However, the song would have been far too long for use on my rock morning show and so it was edited for time, removing a couple of the verses. Still, it's a worthy listen that should bring a smile to your face.
