When you help bring 3 Stanley Cups to Chicago, you have truly made an impact on the city. As Jonathan Toews has played is last game, scored his last goal, he will not be soon forgotten as a great for the Blackhawks.
There are a lot of ways that people will try to show their appreciation for his time with the team, but I think the Blackhawks did it perfectly.
They allowed season ticket holders to paint messages of appreciation to Jonathan on the ice. I haven't seen anything like this before myself, but it is perfect.
