When the United States qualified to make their way back into the World Cup, I was not only excited for the Fall Tournament, I also knew we would be getting new unis for show.
We got the new soccer kit, and I am not that impressed. They are very simple. They moved the crest to the middle of the chest but nothing to be excited about.
I think I was mainly upset because I saw how awesome the Mexico Team kits are. I expected we would try to rival our biggest rival. Not the case at all.
Then I thought maybe it is a Nike vs Adidas thing. With some really easy research I found this amazing jersey for Nigeria featuring an eagle. Now I want to know why we couldn't have an eagle built into the United States' kit.
Guess I will have to wait until next year to see what new hotness they might bring.
