Yesterday was a very emotional day for all involved for the Taylor Hawkins Tribute Concert at Wembley Stadium in London.
A lot of great moments from a lot of artist and musicians that showed up with an outpouring of love for Taylor.
One thing stood out to me more than anything, the importance to family for everyone involved.
Dave Chappelle mentioned his favorite moment with the Foo Fighters that not only included Taylor but also his son, Shane.
Wolfgang Van Halen, made his appearance very memorable as he performed his dad's music to honor Taylor. He sounded like he was part of Van Halen.
Dave Grohl's daughter, Violet, also took part in the tribute concert. She clearly became close with Taylor over the many years. As she was slated to sing in his honor, you could see the pride Dave Grohl had for his daughter.

The big moment of the night clearly belonged to Shane though. He stepped up to the drum kit where his dad would have been to honor him with "My Hero."
We all knew this was coming, but it still hit me right in the feels. This was the peak of the emotional night that was honoring Taylor Hawkins.
