The NFL Draft has wrapped and now we get to over analyze what the Chicago Bears did this year. Did they do enough to support Justin Fields? Have they found a replacement for Khalil Mack?
You can be the judge as I have found highlights and first impressions from the draft picks for you over think everything as the couch general managers that we all are.
Let us start with second round pick Kyler Gordon, Corner Back from Washington.
The Bears stayed with secondary when they went with Safety Jaquan Brisker from Penn State at pick #48.
In Round 3 the Bears grabbed Wide Receiver, Velus Jones from Tennessee.
Braxton Jones, Offensive Tackle came off the board from Southern Utah State in Round 5.
Round 5 continued with Dominique Robinson, Defensive end from Miami of Ohio.
In Round 6, the Bears picked Zach Thomas, Guard from San Diego State.
The pick continue in Round 6 with Trestan Ebner, Running Back from Baylor.
With the third and final pick of their 6th round picks, the Bears got more help for the O Line with Center from Illinois, Doug Kramer.
The seventh and final round saw the Bears with 3 more picks.
Guard from Southern, Ja'Tyre Carter was the first of 3.
Elijah Hicks, Defensive Back from California was their second pick in Round 7.
To wrap up the 2 day draft for the Bears (no picks on day 1) Punter from North Carolina State, Trenton Gill was drafted.
There are the 11 pick for the Chicago Bears. There are a bunch of Undrafted Free Agents being added as well. We will see what impact these young men have with the new regime Matt Eberflus and Ryan Poles.
