With Dunkin' bringing it's fall menu back August 17th and Starbucks doing the same August 30th, this seems like the perfect time to reference a g*ddamn calendar and see that AUGUST IS STILL IN SUMMER YOU PSYCHOPATHS. Look, we live in Chicago. We're not at a loss for chilly days and sweaters. So please, for the love of god, let us enjoy our precious summer months without the reminder that our seasonal depression is just around the corner.
And this is neither here nor there, but it doesn't even taste like pumpkin. There is not one flavor in that recipe even reminiscent of gourd. It's basically just cinnamon and nutmeg.
