It's hard to imagine Ozzy Osbourne singing about dudes wanting to bang him, but that was almost a very real possibility. Weezer's front man, Rivers Cuomo, told Guitar World:
I think it was in 2000, he asked if I had any songs for him, and I just happened to have written ‘Hash Pipe. I sent it to him, but he didn’t end up using it. In another reality, it might have been interesting to hear him singing that song.
"Interesting" is an understatement. I feel straight up robbed. I LOVE Weezer's version of Hash Pipe. It's my favorite single from them. But now I need Ozzy to do a cover pronto.
