How about the American woman flying from LA to Australia and did it with her 24-carat gold plated gun! Sure there are legal ways to travel with a firearm on a plane. That aside, her gun was unregistered and lacked a permit to bring it to Australia. She's facing up to 10-years in prison if convicted. You may know Australia has very strict gun laws after past mass shootings. The fact that her gun was gold plated really doesn't have anything to do with the story, I just found it to be interesting she'd just stick the thing in her regular luggage.
