The Cubs hosted the Mariners at Wrigley for their first night game of the 2023 season last night, winning 3-2 in 10 innings. Hell yeah Wrigley was on full display under the canopy of an all new $3M LED lighting system installed during the off season. The old lights had been on the job since 1988, needed regular maintenance and were not very energy efficient. I am certainly NOT made of $$ but $3M to replace the old lights with new LED's doesn't seem like that much damn money!
