Unsurprisingly, Americans Aren't Saving for Retirement

According to a new survey, only 17% of adults say retirement saving is their top financial priority.

Uh, yeah. Right now the financial priority is to have finances. Remember that whole two years where a bunch of us couldn't work? Ya know how inflation is insane right now? Ya know how wages haven't even come close to keeping up with inflation?

Yeah. We're not saving for retirement. A lot of us can't save at all. We anticipate working until we die. I'm just gonna dip out to some remote island or something. Go off the grid. See how long I last before I get sick of hunting and gathering. ...gathering. Mostly gathering. I know my limits.
