So to me, at least the real question is WTF took them so long?! I mean that one lady who sells sheets and recipes Martha Stewart has a line with Snoop but seriously there IS a reason.
And I like the reason.
The story is that the band wanted to get into the weed business for a while, but was chasing down a company that understands the band and NOT a company just trynna line up with a band that lights up.
As quoted in Ganjapreneur magazine, Scott Seine of Surfdog/DKM management said the band “wanted to find a truly creative collaboration with someone who really understood the deep musical and cultural significance of Sublime’s legacy.”
And I like that.
Looks like a summer "roll" out starting out west thanks to cannabis company, The Healing Plant which is based in SoCal.
“Sublime has its own weed now!” drummer Bud Gaugh said in a press release. “I mean, what more needs to be said other than light ‘em up!”
And I like that.
