I broke out Cherry Pie from Warrant on Thursday for The Hair Club For Men. Such a great song and wanted to give the nod to the late Jani Lane for taking 20 minutes to write it back in 1990. He said the record was pretty much done and given to the record label but they wanted that one song that would be an attention grabber! Jani Lane, who passed in 2011 from alcohol poisoning, said it only took 20 minutes to write and a matter of days to produce and record but rubbed many people the wrong way.
