With International Woman's Day happening tomorrow, Shirley Manson was prepping to release a new album and tour with a powerhouse of talented women. Look for Shirley and Garbage to still release their 7th album in the coming weeks, but the summer tour with Alanis Morisette and Chicago's own Liz Phair was put on hold just days ago. They were set to play Tinley Park this September but now we're all in a standby and wait mode.
Shirley recently shared that like a lot of us, she was fighting off low-grade depression and anxiety, adding that "mixing the new album was the only thing keeping us sane.” Look for the new as of yet untitled 7th album to hit this spring. Wait, isn't it spring now....?
